Specializes in children ages 2-18 years old. Experience with at-risk youth, trauma, anxiety, depression, developmental delays, ADHD, grief/loss, and adjustment issues. My focus in therapy is to meet the child’s unique individual needs while strengthening the parent-child relationship.
Therapeutic approaches to therapy include: client centered play therapy, sandtray, trauma informed, attachment theory, and strength based.
My passion is using play therapy to work with children and families. Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate way to help children discover language about their life experiences. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, genuine, and trusting environment for the child to express their feelings and work through their problems.
