Brittany Buchwitz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in children, teens, and young adults. Brittany has extensive experience working with school aged children with aggression and difficulty adjusting to transitions. Brittany has experience working with at risk youth and individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief/loss, blended family issues, and divorce. Brittany’s goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals are able to explore, in new ways, their emotions, thoughts, fears, and desires in order to move towards healing and connecting with yourself and the relationships in your life. Brittany’s practice style is wide-ranging to meet your individual needs however Brittany implements evidence based approaches coupled with other methods such as; Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, and Mindfulness to help you make progress towards your desired goals.
